TechStars Startup Weekend Fort Lauderdale is the place to build a team, create a prototype of your idea, validate your business idea, and receive feedback from experienced entrepreneurs, investors and experts, all in one weekend. Startup Weekend Fort Lauderdale will be held from Friday February 1st to Sunday February 3rd 2019. Due to the success of last May’s Startup Weekend Fort Lauderdale, the first Startup Week south of Tampa Bay will be held in Fort Lauderdale from January 28th to February 1st 2019. Startup Week Fort Lauderdale is a weeklong celebration of entrepreneurship featuring training, networking and social events designed to support and strengthen the Broward startup ecosystem. Startup Week Fort Lauderdale will immediately precede Startup Weekend Fort Lauderdale in an effort to provide in depth training to Startup Weekend participants and educate the community at large about entrepreneurship. Startup Weekend Fort Lauderdale
Startup Weekend Fort Lauderdale brings together designers, developers, marketers and startup enthusiasts from across South Florida and beyond to share ideas, form teams and launch business ventures. Participants select ideas with the most promise and make as much progress on the business as possible over the course of three days. In addition, business leaders and mentors are on hand to share insights and experience.
Startup Week Fort Lauderdale
Free workshops, panels, talks, bootcamps, hackathons will be offered in co-working spaces throughout Fort Lauderdale to registered participants during Startup Week Fort Lauderdale. The following 5 workshops tracks: Startup (BMC, MVP, Pitch etc), ScaleUp (Talent acquisition, Marketing etc), Funding (VC funding, ICO etc), Tech (Hackathon, Product demos etc) and Legal (Startup Law, etc) are included on the schedule. A Beer Craft 101 Track will also be offered for a fee.
